LAHORE: The US national Raymond Davis’ remand in Police custody extended by the court of law for more eight days on Thursday, charged on the killing of two men.
Public Prosecutor Abdul Samad said, that he was produced in the court Magistrate Zafar Iqbal extended his remand in Police custody for eight days more.
He was arrested Last Thursday after shooting dead two motorcyclist who was identified by the police as Raymond Davis a US Consulate employee, claimed, he acted in self-defense feeling that they were about to rob him.
We have to investigate further that is why an extension in remand was necessary for more findings. .Raymond Davis to be produce in the court on Feb 11, Samad said.
Another Pakistani who was crushed to death by the consulate vehicle in Lahore that had given a back up to Raymond Davis has not been arrested so far.
The Lahore High Court which was blocked Raymod’s move for further hearing said, that the court would determine whether he is entitled for diplomatic immunity or not.
